Today, the 2nd Beta version of iPhone OS 3.0 jailbreak was released by a Russian hacker named Vortex. It was released using The Dev Team's familiar QuickPWN interface, Vortex just modified the program to support 3.0.

Nobody, as of yet, has leaked the 3.0 Beta 2 firmware to the public in only 1 file -- it has, however, been leaked in 3 .rar files, which the downloader has to extract, put all three together, and after that, it comes as a .dmg file, which is used in a Mac, not Windows. You need then read the .dmg file, and extract the .ipsw file hidden in the .dmg file, 

I aim to be the first to provide a link to the .ipsw download, so you don't have to do all the extracting, combining, re-extracting, etc. 

Until then, if you have a jailbroken device running 3.0, DO NOT INSTALL OpenSSH!!! (OpenSSH is a packace you can install through Cydia, Installer or Icy that allows you to SSH into your iPhone or iPod. If you don't know what SSH-ing is, then nevermind.) This will make your device un-usable, and you will have to restore through iTunes to get up and running again.

If you need to access system files, use a program called DiskAid -- it does the same thing as SSH-ing with WinSCP does, except your device will remain usable, and your device has to be plugged into your computer via USB to access system files.
